I’m a multi award-winning producer, journalist and director, primarily focused on news and documentaries, with additional experience in comedy, fact-ent and branded content. 

Until 2024, I worked for the international team of VICE News. My role focused on producing content for TV and social media across their Emmy award-winning flagship shows on HBO and Showtime.

I’ve covered hard news, feature pieces and character-led content around the world. A lot of my work has focused on Eastern Europe— I went undercover to report on Belarus’ pro-democracy protests, profiled Ukraine's obsession with lie detection technology and followed migrants trapped in Bosnia as they attempted to cross into the EU. Up until 2024 I was working inside Russia, using my rare access to produce unique pieces exploring the impact Putin’s war on Ukraine is having inside the country. This culminated in producing and directing the VICE Special report ‘Warped By War: Inside Putin’s Russia’, which broadcast on VICE TV and SBS. The film received an Emmy nomination.  

I’ve also created a range of content on UK politics for an American audience, like the push for a 2nd EU Referendum, feelings on Trump in his ancestral homeland and January 2020’s Brexit celebrations.

Often I shoot in the field— I’m highly experienced using both Canon and Sony inter-changeable lens cameras. 

Alongside field work, I’m an experienced edit producer, working on VICE’s Murrow award winning coverage from Azerbaijan of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as long-form content like the Rory Peck nominated Road to Fallujah and a film about Muslims leaving the faith.

When not producing I can be found editing. I cut in Premiere Pro, FCP 7 and Avid. Highlights include being part of the Peabody award winning team behind the documentary The Islamic State, the Jeremy Corbyn documentary The Outsider  and Libya’s Migrant Jails.

My work has received a Peabody, an Emmy and a Murrow award.
